#18- BYOD rules.  Just so that we’re all on the same page, what is your understanding of what the essential rules are for BYOD.  When can you use your devices and for what?  Consequences?

BYOD stands for Bring Your Own Device. In order to bring your own device into a class, you need the teachers permission. You are not allowed to have your device during class unless the teacher gives you permission. Also, you can only use your device for research and educational purposes unless told otherwise. If you disobey these rules, there are many consequences. You may loose the privilege to bring your device and it might be taken away for the rest of the day. Also, you might go to the principals office and have a phone call home. The consequences are different based on what you do. If you are playing games when you are not supposed to, your device will probably be taken away for the rest of the day. If you are texting or calling people, you will get a phone call home and possibly loose the privilege to bring your device ever again. There are different consequences for different actions. So these are the rules and consequences for BYOD!
