How Does Kindness Change Everything?

Last week, we had an assembly about how kindness changes everything, there were three speakers, three presenters and a band of three called, "The Cardinals". I enjoyed the presentation because it enabled the rest of us to listen to the speakers, who told us about the lowest point in their lives, when they we're going through tough problems. Personally, I think they got to talk about the things they might not have gotten to before, and we got to listen, learn, and possibly be humored at times! It was a lot of fun, and the beautiful multicoloured lights before the show blew me away! I would love for another similar show to come to RTMS! Going back to the main question; I think that kindness can't change everything. However I think it can change some things such as perspective, hopes, and etc... From there, it creates a domino effect and makes it appear like kindness did it all. In a way, Kindness was the cure. It's like when you use Advil to help your headache. When you have a headache, you use Advil to help make the pain go away. In reality, the headache isn't actually gone, it's just removing the pain, so your body is able to heal, and cure itself without the extra stress of the pain. All the other things help out your body and the Advil, such as rest, eating good foods such as soups, and not overexerting yourself. In a way, Kindness is like this, where it may change ones perspective (for example), and from there, when you work towards this new perspective, everything else falls into place. So no, I disagree that kindness changes everything; However it will aid you to make the right decisions, and continue the change.
