Hi everyone! Today I'm going to be responding to the lyrics of Macklemore's sone: Same Love.
This is the chunk of the lyrics I'm going to be writing about:
"Man, that's gay" gets dropped on the daily

We become so numb to what we're saying

A culture founded from oppression

Yet we don't have acceptance for 'em

Call each other faggots behind the keys of a message board

A word rooted in hate, yet our genre still ignores it

Gay is synonymous with the lesser

It's the same hate that's caused wars from religion

Gender to skin color, the complexion of your pigment

The same fight that led people to walk outs and sit ins

It's human rights for everybody, there is no difference!

Live on and be yourself

-The emotions I got from reading this were disspointed, pityful, and angry. This is because it really bothers me when people make fun of others for being who they are, and that is what these lyrics are talking about.

-If I ever saw this happen in person, I will do something about it wether it's handle it myself, or telling an asult. I just think it isn't right to that.

That was my review on Same Love by: Macklemore. Comment below what you think about these lyrics. Thanks for reading.!
